Sam Barrows MSc – Performance Nutritionist

Sam is our consulting Performance Nutritionist, currently working in elite sport including professional football, triathlon and court sports. Sam is available for consultations at our main location in East Bridgford, Nottinghamshire.
Sam holds a Masters degree in Sports Nutrition amongst additional qualifications in Sports Science, and provides primarily one-to-one performance nutrition services including long-term nutrition planning, race/match nutrition, body composition assessments, nutrition for injury rehabilitation and more.
Sam takes a food-first approach to performance nutrition, establishing optimal health as a foundation for performance enhancement, before delving deeper into the specifics of macronutrient balance, appropriate supplement use and education on anti-doping regulations for athletes.
Sam often works in collaboration with our Performance and Rehabilitation Specialists with bespoke packages available.
